Meet Jamila

With 20 years of honorable service in the Air Force and Air Force Reserve, Jamila is passionate about leadership, personal development, and an advocate for financial wellness. She is the Founder of Push FORWARD Development Ltd. A Certified Speaker and Trainer with The John Maxwell Team, and she is being trained and mentored by the number one leadership expert in the world. Jamila is also the author behind the inspirational quote brand, Quote Junkie Diaries. She self-published her first book, Quote Junkie Diaries Inspirational Quotes Volume I, on October 16, 2017.

 

In 2019, Jamila established herself as a speaker and trainer in the Denver metro area and had the opportunity to present for Out Front Magazine, Tutti Networks inaugural Together as One Conference, and Freelance Business Week Denver. Over the years, she had opportunities to speak and facilitate workshops for Colorado School of Public Health, Denver StartUp Week, Colorado State University students, She Leads (Ft. Collins), The United States Air Force, The United States Air Force Reserve Command and The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System focusing on leadership, adversity, communication and personal growth. She has also been a keynote speaker at the Pope Field (NC) Monthly Women’s Leadership Forum where she gave a passionate talk on how to push through adversity.

 

In her spare time, Jamila loves to spend time with her family on the East coast, learn, listen to music, travel, workout, be active outdoors, attend sporting events, volunteer, network and most recent, experimenting with cooking and baking.
